The most recent residential ventilation/air quality standard, ASHRAE 62.2, has recently been adopted by a number of national retrofit standards and protocols. DOE's latest health & safety guidance, WPN 11-6, requires all states to adopt this standard by Jan. 1, 2012. Moving from the older standard, ASHRAE 62-1989, to ASHRAE 62.2 will require planning, programmatic changes, and training. This session, by three members of the ASHRAE 62.2 committee, will introduce you to the fundamentals of this new ventilation standard. If you want to know how to comply with ASHRAE 62.2, and size and install ventilation for existing dwellings, this is the session for you.
By attending this session, participants will
- Know the requirements of ASHRAE Standard 62.2
- Learn how to apply ASHRAE Standard 62.2 to existing homes
- Understand how this standard works
